School Leavers Employment Support – What We Provide
We provide services such as:
  • One to one orientation
  • individualized support to help participants identify their strengths and interests,
  • set employment goals, and develop the skills needed to achieve those goals.
The SLES program is designed to help young people with disability who are leaving school to gain the skills and confidence they need to find and maintain employment.

The program provides:

SLES program includes:

  • Career planning and goal setting: Participants will work with a support coordinator to identify their skills, interests, and career aspirations, and to develop a plan for achieving their employment goals.
  • Vocational skills training: Participants may receive training in specific vocational skills such as job search skills, interview skills, resume writing, and workplace communication.
  • Work experience: Participants may have the opportunity to gain real-world work experience through work placements or internships.
  • Job coaching and support: Participants may receive ongoing coaching and support to help them succeed in their chosen employment.
To be eligible for the SLES program, a person must be aged between 15 and 24 years, have a NDIS plan, and be transitioning from school to employment.
